Big data is the term used to refer to a very large and complex data set that traditional data processing tools and applications cannot collect, manage and process data at any certain time.
Big data began at a time when the data of an organization or a business grew faster than the information technology (IT) data management capabilities. Today, data management is a special field.
All of the users’ habits on Google Search, YouTube, Facebook, etc. including the content of interest to the position of the mouse dragging, clicking and so on are the data sources that these "giants" will use for many different purposes. On top of that, they are the primary source of raw data to create a large data warehouse.
These data are analyzed by machine learning analysis to finally gain reliable data. The ultimate goal is that big data additive machine learning will create intelligent artificial intelligence (AI) beyond human’s reasoning ability.
THE FIRST WEB BROWSER
Microsoft was at the forefront of the internet revolution with the launch of Internet Explorer in 1995, allowing users to surf the web around the world at that time. From 2002 to 2003, about 95% of web users used it as their primary means of accessing websites when many around the world gained access to the internet.
Currently, the user experience is everything web browsers have to offer including mobile applications. That means more planning for different user interfaces along with prioritizing data status when the connection is disrupted.
Companies are realizing that using a single public cloud or private cloud connection or data center is not necessarily the best option. Sometimes, they need to combine. The cloud connectivity process is continuing to keep pace with the changing needs of businesses, whether they want to host, connect, secure or develop cloud-based applications.
Public cloud providers like Amazon or Alibaba are starting to offer their own cloud options. In addition, multicloud, the multimedia cloud, will be the new buzzword. The experience that it offers must also be seamless, secure and streamlined. In theory, it's cheaper, easier, and more secure than doing it internally.
Large IT providers often wanted to sell users and businesses too expensive hardware in the 2000s. Many years later, cheap hardware became good enough, so they shifted their focus to software production in the 2010s. From backup devices for firewalls to switchboards, sales became normal for the users who still want something special for transactional databases or other advanced applications.
It's hard to predict in 2000 that by 2020 people would want everything to work as their phones. Users want to put their devices into operation and technical staff (developers, engineers, scientists, etc.) are not satisfied when the IT infrastructure does not meet all the requirements that the users want like setting up networks using digital signatures or paperless jobs. At the moment, we live in a user-centric world.
All phones, tablets, laptops, access points, projectors, and mobile charging stations must be recorded, secured and maintained. Equipment management is a big industry. Experts and professionals are finding new ways to track everything, back up data, roll out updates over the network and keep devices safe when they're connected to the internet.
DevOps is a term for a set of actions which emphasizes the cooperation and information exchange of programmers and IT professionals working together to automate the process of transferring software programs and to change the system architecture.
What if the programmers and other technical people work together instead of separately? In theory, it supports apps to work better, make them more fun and interact more smoothly with computer systems all of which are built and updated faster.
PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE PROLIFERATION
With the rapid development of technology and the ability to communicate between devices increasingly tighter, the security will have to be high. From simple security technologies like password strings, now real-time authentication technologies like OTP, two or more authentication, fingerprint, iris, complex encryption, being upgraded will play an extremely important role.
This concept has been mentioned many times over the decades and since 2010, it has become very large and popular. Most important servers today are running on a lot of operating systems and a lot of applications. They have the advantage of saving a lot of money, saving space, saving energy, reducing noise, reducing hardware management hassle.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
Innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) will continue to bring about scientific breakthroughs, thanks in part to the vast amount of data that new technologies have collected and are now available. Machine learning and AI will be applied in many fields of business, creating smart business activities.
Advances in machine learning technology and algorithm training will create new and more advanced AI. Autonomous vehicles and robots are the two industries that will witness the fastest growth in the future.
Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning are converged in business applications. When AI and learning technologies work together to achieve better results, AI will have greater accuracy at every level.
