To fans of these blockbusters, 10 years feels just like yesterday

Although they came out 10 years ago, these films still remain legends of the film history.

1. Twilight


A beautiful love story between a normal girl and a vampire boy was the dream love of many girls in their twenties. The success of “Twilight” paved the way for the next five smash-hit parts and helped Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson become the favorite actor and actress both in movies and in real life.

2. Iron Man


The moment Tony Stark declared himself as the Iron Man made viewers surprised and astonished. It was also the start for Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) which was worth 13,5 billion USD in 2017. After 10 years of debut, Iron Man starring Robert Downey Jr has not ceased to impress his fans.

3. The Dark Knight


The rivalry of Marvel Studio, DC Comics took pride in the superhero film co-written and co-produced by Christopher Nolan. Until now, The Dark Knight has been considered the best part in the trilogy about Batman of Nolan and ranks the first among the best superhero movies of all times by many viewers. The film was awarded two Oscars and made the role “Joker” of Heath Ledger a legend.

4. Taken


"I don't know who you are… But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you". So impressive is the line that it has become a popular quote on social networks.

Taken is about a retired CIA agent who travels across Europe and uses his skills to rescue his daughter from a dangerous kidnapper. It was a highlight in the action film market which was saturated and losing its attractiveness.

5. Mamma Mia!


Interesting plot, picturesque landscapes of a Greek island and the wonderful soundtrack by ABBA are what makes this film fascinating. This year 2018, Mamma Mia! is coming back to the big screen with a whole new movie named “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again”.

6. Slumdog Millionaire


The Best Picture of the Oscar 2009 went to the incredible story about Jamal – the winner of  “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” of India. The film touches on painful reality of Indian society but is also an inspirational story for many moviegoers of the time.

So far, you might have not forgotten Jai Ho (You're My Destiny) - one of the songs that made a strong impression on the public.

7. Kung Fu Panda


Clumsy, humorous but brave are words that can be used to describe the leading character Po. Under the training of master Shi Fu, Po and his fellows, the Furious Five succeed in defeating the evil Tai Lung. The movie itself is funny, meaningful and therefore can be suitable for audience of all ages.
