Everything you need to know about the 60th Annual Grammy Awards

The 60th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on January 28, and everyone is looking forward to the series of huge names appearing that day.

There's no denying that music lovers all over the world are heading for the 60th Grammy Awards in 2018 to be held on January 28th. The nomination list has also been revealed, and everything is just getting hotter than ever.

As usual, the Red Carpet will open the ceremony, before Elton John, Miley Cyrus and rock band U2 warm up the stage. And this year Grammy will also return to New York City, after moving to Los Angeles in 2004.



CBS will broadcast the award ceremony from Madison Square Garden, New York City at 7:30 pm local time with the appearance of our hilarious host – James Corden.


The red carpet will take place an hour before that with Kevin Frazier, Nancy O'Dell and Keltie Knight from Entertainment Tonight.



This year's Grammy promises to be a glorious night when a number of huge names would appear on the show, including Lady Gaga, Pink, rapper Childish Gambino and country band Little Big Town. Some Broadway stars like Patti LuPone and Ben Platt would also take part in the big night.



Talking about R&B, there will be superstars of 2017, including Bruno Mars, Cardi B and Latin singers Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee.

Eric Church, Maren Morris and the Brothers Osborne, performers of Route 91 Harvest Festival will perform together to commemorate the gunshot victims last year.


Topping the list this year is Jay-Z with a total of 8 nominations for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Producer of the Year Non-Classical, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Album, and Best Music Video.


Kendrick Lamar (7 nominations) and Bruno Mars (6 nominations) come second and third respectively. Childish Gambino, Khalid, No I.D. and SZA get 5 nominations each.


The nominees for Best New Artists include Alessia Cara, Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, Julia Michaels and SZA.

Album of the Year is the battle of Jay-Z's 4:44, Childish Gambino with Awaken, My Love!, Kendrick Lamar with DAMN, Lorde with Melodrama and Bruno Mar with 24K Magic.

Many 2017 hit songs are on the nominees list for Song of the Year: Logic, Alessia Cara and Khalid with 1-800-273-8255, Jay-Z with 4:44, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber with Despacito, Julia Michaels with Issues and Bruno Mars with That's What I Like.

This year is the year of Jay-Z and Bruno Mars when they are both nominated in many categories including the Record of the Year, in parallel with the Latin hit Despacito.
